Rejoice In The Lord Part 2: The Attitude of Gratitude

Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in Colossians 2 today. Continuing with the theme of last week’s message, we are to be people that rejoice in good times and bad. But not only that, but we should also be grateful. Car breaks down? Be grateful to God. Health issue? Be grateful to God. Lose your job? Again, be grateful to God. It sounds counterintuitive, but God knows more than we do, and if we give God our gratitude in all circumstances, then we will be able to serve Him with our time, tithe, and talents, and He will provide for us.  “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
