The Relatively Speaking Podcast is here to help you start your Turkey Week off on the right foot. Luckily for you, those who celebrate by eating plenty of turkey, the guys are going to help you out in that area. More on that later. Jared was dying to discuss how awesome the NFC East is. While Joseph tentatively agrees, listen as the former waxes poetic about the greatness of the New York Giants all while the latter is trying to point to the close wins as evidence that maybe they aren't that good. The Dallas Cowboys remain awesome. The Washington football team is also playing well. Does this, in turn, make the division the best in all of the NFL? Bad Tweets is broken up into two different parts this week. The first one is concerning some Aaron Rodgers hot-takes. The second is about the idea of Carmelo Anthony being selfish. For both, everyone needs to R-E-L-A-X, though Jared goes rather hard at Melo. James Harden is gnarly at the game of basketball this season. So, too, is Joel Embiid. More discussions are had involving both men. Both Absurd Questions this week revolve around Thanksgiving. Jared's is about food, and Joseph's has to deal with a murder mystery because of course it has to do with something not relevant at all to the subject matter being discussed. You can follow Jared on the mean, cold, dark streets of Twitter @JMintzHoops. A similar thing can be done for the far less articulate, savvy, and wise host @JosephNardone. Enjoy the holiday, America.

An Editor's Tales Anthony Trollope These 'tales' describe a series of encounters between various magazine editors and those who wish to have their works published. While containing some amusing bits, the tales are relatively grim, compared to most Trollope stories. The Turkish Bath: This editor, visiting a Turkish bath, is accosted by an Irish stranger, who, after some conversation, requests to submit a manuscript to the magazine. The editor's reactions to the solicitation and subsequent familiarity with the writer's circumstances forms the frame of the story. Humor arises about the Turkish bathing situation, and the reluctance of editors to make themselves available to amateur writers.Mary Gresley is the rather sad tale of a young girl's giving up her writing career to satisfy the deathbed wish of the curate she was engaged to. The editor, in this tale (and also in the next), became rather involved emotionally with the girl and wished her to continue writing.Josephine de Montmorenci The Data Frontier Show The Big Data Chronicle The world of Big Data, business intelligence, and data analytics is relatively new.
