Relatively Speaking Podcast: Goodbye Mike and Mike, NFL Playoffs and more

from Relatively Speaking Podcast · host Relatively Speaking Podcast

It is Friday. Not only does that mean you are about to get absurdly sloshed in a matter of a few hours, but you get to consume the Relatively Speaking Podcast in all its natural glory. This episode's show starts with some sadness. Mike and Mike, according to reports, are breaking up. It was a mutual thing. No hard feelings here. With an eye on the future, Jared and Joseph discuss who are realistic choices to fill the void from the 6-10 slot in the mornings. Because they can't help themselves even if they wanted to, the hosts also brought up a few people they would prefer to hear while wiping crust from their eyeballs. Derrick Rose things happened. Jared is a New York Knicks fan. So, yeah... of course we talked about that. Also, what in the heck is a Ron Baker? NFL Playoffs were discussed -- kind of. While Jared attempted to bring up the topic in earnest, Joseph spent the majority of the time yelling over him with college basketball takes. The Relatively Speaking Podcast Ask Me Anything returned, too. Five really good questions this week from four different members of the human species. Very #OnBrand types of questions of the podcast as well. You will have to listen to hear what happened, but do know that one of the questions spurned what was quite possibly one of the rare "fictional trade scenarios" that actually made sense for both teams and is somewhat realistic. PSA: Don't text and drink baking soda.
