The Relatively Speaking Podcast is here to help you come down from a post-debate world. Honestly, just ignore the inevitable zombie invasion that is lurking around the corner, and instead listen to two not-yet-zombies discuss the realm of sports. After Jared went 5-0 in his NFL picks over the weekend, he would like to declare himself champion of the world. When he is done gloating about his awesomeness, the guys move on to a different sort of greatness, which happens to be one Mr. Tom Brady. Brady returned to the New England Patriots on Sunday and looked every bit as great as one would expect. Other NFL thoughts discussed on the podcast this week are: Vikings and Sam Bradford. Dak Prescott and the Cowboys. The Texans having the worst QB since ever. Are the Eagles still good? Rex Ryan is a genius again? And other stuff. Did you know David Price is a good postseason pitcher? No? Well, neither did the Relatively Speaking Podcast co-hosts. It is why this week's Bad Tweet segment is dedicated to a person who believes a historically awful playoff pitcher was brought to Boston for his ability to be a good playoff pitcher. Absurd Questions are patently absurd this week. Joseph makes some weird Batman-to-politics allegory, while calling out Jared's friend as a serial killer, and Jared wants to know about toppings on pizza. You can find both of the hosts on Twitter. Where on those mean streets? Well, it is complicated. We are sick of catering to lazy millennials, so now you must find them like a game of Where's Waldo.

An Editor's Tales Anthony Trollope These 'tales' describe a series of encounters between various magazine editors and those who wish to have their works published. While containing some amusing bits, the tales are relatively grim, compared to most Trollope stories. The Turkish Bath: This editor, visiting a Turkish bath, is accosted by an Irish stranger, who, after some conversation, requests to submit a manuscript to the magazine. The editor's reactions to the solicitation and subsequent familiarity with the writer's circumstances forms the frame of the story. Humor arises about the Turkish bathing situation, and the reluctance of editors to make themselves available to amateur writers.Mary Gresley is the rather sad tale of a young girl's giving up her writing career to satisfy the deathbed wish of the curate she was engaged to. The editor, in this tale (and also in the next), became rather involved emotionally with the girl and wished her to continue writing.Josephine de Montmorenci The Data Frontier Show The Big Data Chronicle The world of Big Data, business intelligence, and data analytics is relatively new.
