Remembering the Bad Times - #1977-2

When you look back at your earlier life, the general thought is that times were better.  This isn't always true, of course.  For some rare people, their lives improve over time.  For example, some of us used to get nearly blackout drunk at Madison Square Garden, which sounds fun at the time but quickly becomes a bad memory.  Similarly, few of us are going to look back fondly on the last year or so.  If it's only one year we may consider ourselves lucky.
