Folk Style Singer Songwriter Rennie D plays LIVE on the Dusty Futon and we talk about her brand new album! Born and raised in Rhode Island, Rennie D moved out to San Diego in her 20's. Loving the beaches (and bot being able to admit that she loves West-Coast beaches better) her first album is titles "SaltWater" and features a few other metaphors about the seas. Rennie D didn't pick up the guitar until 32 years old, proving you never should let anything stop you from pursuing your passion. Her natural songwriting ability and ease of playing guitar got her into a few bands early on, but then she realized she's better off on her own. Realizing it's much different than being in a band, she took a break in 2005...only to start again when she became a billiards widow!
