REPLAY: Silver Streaks Boys in Taylor Thiel's First Game as Head Coach

In their first game under new head coach Taylor Thiel, the Silver Streaks boys team beat the Limestone Rockets, 86-60. The game was tight throughout the first quarter, but a 10-2 run in the second energized the team for the rest of the way. Three Silver Streaks finished with 20 or more points on the night. Cesaire Bile led the Streaks with 23 points and added 7 rebounds. Jaxon Wyatt contributed with 21 points and 9 rebounds, and Keigen Crummer finished with a career-high 20. Galesburg as a team shot 32 of 59 from the field, 12 of 27 from three, and 10 of 14 from the line. The Streaks nabbed 36 rebounds, had 19 assists, and only turned the ball over 13 times. The first Dave's Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game for the season went to Keigen Crummer. Along with his career-high in points, he finished the game with 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 steals as he started his senior season in style. The Silver Streaks return to action on Friday when they take on the Madison Trojans to start the Thanksgiving Tournament.
