Slick Rick and more!Lioness Afreeka started her musical journey in late 1999 in Kenya. She performed in a popular Kenyan group called Big Matata and toured locally and internationally. Afreeka recorded her first album in 2005. In 2006 the band traveled to Italy for a series of concerts where they remained to start a new life. Through challenges Lioness Afreeka maintained the passion for music and was destined to open acts for Mikal Rose, Gentleman among Kenyan and Tanzania celebrities like Nameless and Diamond Platnumz. While releasing singles, Lioness Afreeka was on focus and aimed for higher heights. Her comeback was felt in 2018 when she released Roar, Nakereka and official videos; also collaborating with Kenyan producers on different riddims. Lioness Afreeka has 2 EPs Afro Reggae Mania and Amkowa both available on all digital platforms.
