Republican White Supremacists Have Secured Funding for an American Holocaust

Hello Friends,I wish I had better news for you today, but things are looking pretty bleak. Republicans managed to ram their murder bill through. The more I read about this bill, the worse it gets.In addition to that, they’ve already managed to build a concentration camp in Florida. Naturally, the very worst people in our society are cheering for this even as they hide their bigotry behind scripture.I look at all the billions of dollars being wasted on abuse and cruelty.I can’t help but lament the future we could have had if we’d spent that money on kindness and compassion instead.Not only are we wasting all our resources on punishing the innocent, we’re going into insurmountable debt to do so.What a mess.There are moments when I fall into despair. More than once, I have considered leaving the country for the protection of my wife and children. But that thought pains me. They are all doing so well here. My wife has an important job. My kids are excelling at school. They have positive friend groups.You can look around and life still seems pretty much normal. The only problem is that a madman somehow got behind the levers of power, and he’s openly waging war on the majority of the American population.The provision that most concerns me is the allocation of 170 billion dollars to this regime’s Immigration agenda. They’ve already been deputizing shady characters who have been hauling people off and denying them due process.“Immigration reform” is a sanitized way of saying genocide. They aren’t hauling off white people. The white supremacists are in control. With the new money flowing in, they’ll be able to ramp up their cruel and unlawful behavior.This is something we should take seriously, but that doesn’t mean you have to be afraid.I’m not convinced that fear will help us. In fact, I think fear is what got us here. Fear of “going too far left” allowed the fascists to march into power.We have to put our fear aside.The fact of the matter is, these are the events of my life. My kids are still under my roof. I want to enjoy their high school days. I can’t spend every waking moment making bad decisions based on my out of control fear.As for today, the enemy isn’t near. They’re not knocking on my door right now. I still have time to do the work to ensure they’ll never come.I want to emphasize that.I’m not “preparing” for them.I’m working to ensure they never come.That’s a big difference. Preparing for the end of civilization is a cowardly form of surrender. We’re not giving up in advance. That’s not an outcome we will accept.My job as a parent is to protect my children to the best of my ability. Sitting around succumbing to fear is not protecting them. It’s an abdication of duties.Yes, I am taking the threats seriously.But I won’t let the fear control me.It’s tempting to dwell on worst case scenarios. Yes, the side of decent, rational, empathetic people suffered a loss recently. We’ve suffered a series of losses, but there have been some victories too.Read between the lines. The Republicans are still fearful of the midterms. Yes, they’re going to try to rig or cancel that election, but they haven’t secured that yet. We still have the power to resist. We always have that power.No matter how many loses pile up, we still retain the power to resist. As for me, I’ll resist to the end of my days. Winning or losing doesn’t even matter. The choice is already decided. I will resist this. I am on the team that stands for compassion and basic human decency.That’s not going to change even if I should suffer nothing but a series of losses until the end of my days. This is my life. I won’t have fear dictate my brief experience on this Earth.Yes, the forces of evil have obtained billions of dollars to enact their agenda of cruelty. But money isn’t a guarantee of victory.We gave Kamala billions to oppose this regime, and it got ushered in anyway.Russia came after Ukraine with billions of dollars, and Ukraine still persists.The piles of money look impressive, but what value will there be when the nation suffers a complete economic collapse? The strain of this recklessness is already being felt even if the media is trying to hide it.Regular people still live in denial because everything they’ve learned about conflict came from what they saw on television. They imagine exciting battles with dazzling pyrotechnics and sculped actors with perfect hair performing heroic acts.The truth about conflict is that it manifests in the form of bare shelves and lack of access to healthcare. We saw this during the pandemic. The bodies started piling up at a rate the government couldn’t handle.We’ve already deported all the people who pick our food.What happens when people start dying when their healthcare is gone too?States are already taking action to resist the lawless abuses of border patrol agents.The United States is a big country. The Founding Fathers for all their flaws conceived of the presidency as a weak political office. This current regime is in the midst of a power grab, but a lot of government power still rests in other places.We can never forget that the ultimate power lies with “We the people.” What I’ve come to understand is that this is a practical matter.When lunatic white supremacists start sitting around having fantasies where they are the unquestionable patriarchs of cruel concentration camps, they don’t indulge in considering practical obstacles to their evil plans.Is the US Government really going to round up all its citizens? It’s going to pay to have those citizens housed in camps? Every one of us that they detain is going to require somebody to act as a guard.They can’t hide this forever.Now, I know that we have a president who already stood in front of a tear gassed church holding an upside-down Bible. If you needed a more obvious depiction of the anti-Christ, I can’t think of one. He’s been convicted of multiple crimes. Every time he speaks you can smell the Sulphur burning.Yet, people believe. But they believe because he’s just another lie on television. The television is doing us no favors. They’re promoting this hostile takeover. They’re telling only lies.But when they come and put us in jail, I expect they’ll take the cell phones and televisions away. Then we’ll be left only with our stark reality.That’s the worst case.Long before we get there, there will be other developments. That’s because the white supremacists are incapable of dealing with reality. They are entirely committed to a hostile fantasy. They can’t succeed in what they’re doing. It’s not possible.They’ve managed to gather up a huge mound of blood money.They’re building concentration camps.They’re stomping around telling lies to the American people.It’s bad. I’m not going to say it isn’t bad.But the white supremacists are not prepared for what’s going to oppose them. They’re not prepared because they don’t live in the real world. They live in a state of denial, and they disregard practical matters.Their plan is going to fail. The only thing left to see is how long it takes for the sleeping giant to awaken.Take heart in the fact that the sleeping giant has awakened before. It will awaken again.
