📝 Sermon Description In Acts 12:1–25, we see both the deadly opposition of earthly powers and the unstoppable triumph of the Word of God. Herod persecutes the church, James is killed, Peter is imprisoned, and the saints gather in earnest prayer. Yet the Lord rescues Peter, humbles the pride of Herod, and causes His Word to increase and multiply.
