Research Fellows

from The RCHT Podcast · host RCHT Communication

We have a round table discussion with our first set of graduates from the Chief Nurse’s Research fellowship programme. We’ll find out what the programme is, why they decided to take part, what projects they’ve got involved with and what they’ve gained from the experience. We hear from our pathology team about the open skies project and their proposal to use drones to transport pathology samples from remote locations across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We also spend some time talking with Dr Allister Grant, our chief medical officer, to find out about the contribution some of our behind-the-scenes teams made to reset week.During our conversation with the research fellows, one of the graduates, Richard Keates, talks about a website he produced that provides patients affected by back pain access to a range of support information and exercise videos.
