Resentment, Releasing Anger, and Forgiving Past Versions of Ourselves (Late Night Solosode)

Late night thoughts. This episode feels pretty vulnerable of me because it's about someone from my past. Someone I wrote a story about. Someone I was very attached to after a short time. Someone I thought was everything I wanted without even giving myself a chance to know them. And now I talk about the release of the disappointment and anger what I projected toward the other person who didn't fit the mold of who I thought he should be. How I set myself up for disaster because I was filling a void externally. Without even realizing it. And we think that this person did us wrong and owe us something (and perhaps they do). However, to really move forward freely in life, it's the forgiveness toward ourselves that we need to focus on. You couldn't have been someone different in the past because you just weren't different. You had to be THAT version of you to be this version.
