I originally posted this video to my YouTube and TikTok channels on Sept 11, 2024. All of what I talk about in the video hasn’t come true, yet. Too much of it has.I’m not posting it here to say, “look at how prescient I was.” I’m posting it to say that, for those of us paying attention, we could see this coming.We, the people, aren’t doing enough. We must get more people involved. If you know somebody who is prone to say, “I don’t care about politics”, show them this video. Also, we’ve let down our younger generation is far too many ways already. We’ve saddled them with unaffordable health care and housing. We’ve left them with low-paying jobs and out-of-reach education. And we’ve left them with the possible end of our democracy.The least we can do is talk to them and make sure they understand the parallels between Anne Frank’s Germany and our America.
