"Rethinking Expectations: Lessons from a TEDx Talk"
from Being Unapologetically Authentic with Jean Tien Hosted by Jean Tien
In this episode of "Being Unapologetically Authentic," I dive headfirst into a whirlwind sparked by my TEDx Oneonta adventure. Picture this: my TEDx talk drops during the holidays, and I'm over the moon, blasting it out to the world, no previews, no second guesses. Then, in the dead of night, a gut feeling hits me—watch your talk, Jean. And bam! A key piece on "fractional success" process is missing. This revelation isn't just personal; it's universal. I connect the dots to everyday life, showing how unchecked expectations silently script our interactions and shape our reality. I challenge you to shake up and scrutinize your own expectations. This isn't just tweaking; it's transforming how we engage with the world. This episode is a wake-up call, a reminder that questioning our assumptions can radically alter our life's narrative. Ready to flip the script on your expectations? Let's dive in and redefine authenticity together.
