'Retiring' and 'Healthy Hearts'

from The Kathryn Zox Show · host Kathryn Zox

Kathryn interviews professor Louise Nayer, author of "Poised for Retirement: Moving from Anxiety to Zen". When is the right time to retire? Nayer offers inspirational insight to baby boomers and the 250,000 Americans who turn 65 every month. Nayer is featured in the San Francisco Chronicle and The Huffington Post. Her previous book Burned was an Oprah Magazine Great Read. Kathryn also interviews cardiologist Jay Cohn MD, author of "Cardiovascular Health: How Conventional Wisdon is Failing Us". Dr. Cohn challenges the conventional view that risk factors such as poor diet and lack of exercise are the biggest culprits leading to heart and blood vessel disease. Advocating for early intervention, he argues an individual's personal and largely inherited cardiovascular health may be an overlooked cause for disease.
