The first step is to confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord of your life and to also believe that God resurrected Him on the third day. Believing in faith.  It is also KEY that you repent and turn away from a life of sin. Ask Jesus for His baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire. Once your heart is receptive, you are given a new heart. A new heart that is turned from stone to flesh. From this new born again heart, it’s  now easy to know Him and to love Him and to accept Him and to promise to commit your life to Jesus Christ. You follow Him and you obey His voice. You are saved because you’ve placed your faith in Jesus and because of your faith and trust and obedience to Jesus Christ the Son of God you are saved and have eternal life with Him, and you will be invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb as His bride.
