Song, Scripture, and My Thoughts

New podcast weblog proclaiming God’s Word. I suggest a worship song to sing, followed by a Bible Study/sermon, & then offer my thoughts. Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus was not wishy washy in His teachings. I am teaching His Word according to His Truth, and I do not care what the world thinks. There is only one Truth and His Name is Jesus Christ. And, the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth.

    We Preach Christ... Apr 30, 2026 16:06

Song Recommendation: There Was Jesus by Zach Williams and Dolly Parton. 1Corinthians 1:26-31 and chapter 2. 1Corinthians 1:30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, 31 so that, just as it is written, LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD.”

    Replay: Psalm 48 episode_audio_1E1EB9DF-826A-496B-9FC7-61E123604B7D

Replay from March 2024. Song Recommendation: Come Jesus Come by Stephen McWhirter. This one was definitely the replay of the day for two reasons: 1) remembering how much God has miraculously helped me, physically, in the last two years, and 2) how much I needed the reminder to rejoice always and press on. Worth the playback for me personally. Sometimes, I just need the reminder…

Song Recommendation: Jesus Messiah by Chris Tomlin. Scripture referenced: 20: 41&42. Then He said to them, “How is it that they say the Christ is David’s son? Genesis 29 & My Thoughts episode_audio_C77C207A-AFD6-4ADA-AD1F-1C3A795FD6B1

Song Recommendation: No Longer Slaves by Jonathan David & Melissa Helser. 🎶from my mother’s womb, You have chosen me🎶 Scripture: Genesis 29, Matthew 15:8, 15:13, 18:9, 19:16&28. Scripture referenced: From Hebrews 11:13-16, Reminds us that the faithful live by faith, not by sight, looking forward to a city designed and built by God in the New Jerusalem. From Matthew 13, Faith in Jesus and our Salvation needs to take root. Some people have no depth in the good soil and fall away. I go into a bit of a rant on this episode regarding world shenanigans. :-)

  7. 94

    Genesis 28 & My Thoughts Mar 19, 2026 15:31

Song Recommendation: Baptize Me by Jaci Velazquez. Scripture: Genesis 28, Matthew 7:13-14, & 7:21. This Message is a recap of previous chapters as indicated in the last message. I talk about the Believers having faith like Abraham and being spiritual descendants of Abraham. I also go into how important it is to be saved especially right now because of what’s going on in the world. Side with Jesus and only Jesus.

  8. 93

    Genesis 27 & My Thoughts Mar 18, 2026 13:29

Song Recommendation. Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies) by Chris Tomlin. Corrections: At times, I messed up on names. A couple of areas I said Jacob’s name instead of Isaac’s name. I also mistakenly said the younger son would serve the older son. The older son does serve the younger son because this was God’s plan. :-) Chalk it up to tiredness. Scripture read: Genesis 27, Genesis 22:18, Zechariah 13: 7-9, & 14:9 and Matthew 8:11. I paraphrased from the following passages: Genesis 25:22&23, Malachi 1-2&3, Romans 2:29 & John 8:39-47. ***God chooses who He chooses, blesses who He blesses and curses who He curses. This can only come from God and not from a human on their own initiative. God is always involved. God doesn’t make mistakes. It was always supposed to be through Jacob and not Esau. The birth of Isaac the son of promise, and the continued linage through Jacob all the way to Jesus. We are the spiritual descendants of Abraham heirs of the covenant promises. This promise is fulfilled through Jesus, who is the offspring of Abraham and the one through whom all nations are blessed (Galatians 3:16). Jesus Christ is also fully God because He was conceived of the Holy Spirit. Mary was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit. Matt. 1:18. of the descendants of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. Luke 1:27. The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will over shadow you: and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God. Luke 1:34&35.

Replay: Obedient and Faithful Steps episode_audio_BDEA8E0D-67F8-4285-B722-A94709A45744

Original message 11/8/22. I was reflecting today on how I used to feel, physically. A lot has changed during the years, and all for the better. I’m very thankful for God’s help through it all. All the glory to God. I have applied this message to my day to day. I’m replaying this message in the hope that there’s someone out there that needs an encouraging message. You can get better, there is always hope. God’s will be done and trust in Him always. May this message encourage someone to be obedient to God in the day to day, so the blessings can come in abundance. We are to respect Him and honor Him and obey His law. We do this because of our great love for Him. There’s peace in the storm, but He causes the storm to calm down in His timing. He still calms the sea. Correction: We don’t have Jesus’s blood flowing through our veins but we can be adopted into His family. Believe and receive. Much love.

    Psalm 70 & My Thoughts Dec 3, 2025 21:36

    Psalm 69 episode_audio_2C7620A8-783D-40FC-9FF3-89261A4BA4E5

Song Recommendation: Be Alright by Danny Gokey David had trouble and would often cry out to God for help. We get a front row seat into David’s life of sin and redemption. David had a heart for God and God had a heart for David. Let us keep our eye on the prize as David did. Let us not ever think God has stopped caring. God cares deeply for us just as He cared deeply for David. We wait on the Lord’s timing as David did.

  13. 88

    Psalm 30 (Replay) episode_audio_07B8AB44-D9BB-4BAB-B39D-F12283C0C22B

Song: Your Love Never Fails by Jesus Culture. This message was worth a replay. We have to worship the Lord in song and sing directly to His ears. We need Him to fill our space with His presence to the point where spiritual tears are flowing down our faces. We need to come into His presence with thanksgiving in our hearts. It’s time to rededicate our homes to the Lord and stand doubly firm in the Lord. If you haven’t had the Holy Spirit anoint your home, do so today. Much love.

Ten Minute Message: The Sign of Jonah Feb 17, 2025 16:04

I recorded this message a while back. I don’t always publish all the messages that I record, but decided to publish this one after all. Jesus speaks in many ways. Jonah is a remarkable story. Jesus was swallowed up by death and resurrected on the third day. He is the sign for all ages.
