John is taken to the throne room, seems to be physically since the voice as of a trumpet says, "Come up here," so the Spirit took him up there. He see the sea of glass like unto crystal before the throne, the beasts (living creatures) that are probably the same thing Isaiah saw in chapter 6 and Ezekiel in chapter 10, with a few differences.
