by Professing Christians
Welcome to the Professing Christians podcast! I am Lisa, your host. This podcast had a companion podcast titled The Great Tribulation, but I am no longer posting there. We are, and have been, in tribulation throughout history. This is because the enemy, the devil, Satan, has had the ability to accuse and deceive God's people. This leads to sin and all the bad things we are warned about in scripture. When I first created this podcast, I was certain we were in the end times and living in the first parts of the Book of the Revelation. Now I know, we are past most of those chapters and are, in fact, in the last days - specifically in Revelation 20:7-8. This is also known as the Little Season of Satan. The Great Tribulation, as preached by the modern day "church" happened in 66-70 AD (the 3 1/2 years of God's wrath - see Luke 21:21-24). Jesus said He'd return for that generation and I believe He kept His Word. He isn't a liar and He didn't give them false hope. The By

Revelation 8
Now we are getting into the trumpets. Revelation 8 looks at the first four trumpets and the significance of the "thirds". Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Revelation 7
Let's look at the two groups addressed in Revelation 7. The first is 12,000 of the 12 tribes of Israel that are sealed; the second is the multitude of all nations, kindreds and peoples that are given white robes and go to be with the Lord at the throne where they stay. I don't believe these are…

Revelation 6
On this episode we get into the 6 seals. There is much to discuss in this one: the symbolism or the actual, the riders on the horses, the changes in the heavens and how that ties into the prophets of the old testament, and the sheer guilt of those who flee. Let's talk about it! Hosted on Acast.…

Revelation 5
This episode looks at who is on the throne and who the Lamb is. Most of us know the answers to that. But then it appears the 4 beasts (Ezekiel's living creatures) and the 24 elders might be the Elect, the perfected and glorified saints of the tribulation that are made kings and priests to rule…

Revelation 4
John is taken to the throne room, seems to be physically since the voice as of a trumpet says, "Come up here," so the Spirit took him up there. He see the sea of glass like unto crystal before the throne, the beasts (living creatures) that are probably the same thing Isaiah saw in chapter 6 and...

Revelation 3
Finishing with the 7 churches and what the overcomers receive - which is evident of Elect Saints of the first resurrection. Those that overcame before, during, after (who knows exactly when, but they did) the great tribulation ruled with Christ, ate of the tree of life (probably still are),...

Revelation 2
Let's look at the first 4 churches that Christ is speaking to and what the overcomers receive. What happened to the non-overcoming believers? Are they possibly the rest of the dead of Revelation 20? Did they live during the Millennial Reign? Maybe, since the rest of the dead lived again after the...

Revelation 1
New Series! Let's look at the book of the Revelation through fresh eyes. Let's put away staunchy depictions and old adages about the Bible and really look at what it is saying. I believe we are in a new time of spiritual seeing and perceiving of the Word of God. Now that we know we are in the...

The Greatest Event in History
Reviving the podcast! I have too many thoughts to keep them to myself. My focus has been on the blog/YouTube channel but I don't want to post everything on there. Today I discuss my estimation on what and where we can find evidence of the 2nd coming of Christ, the Greatest Event in History! But...

The Beloved City of Revelation 20
The camp of saints are in or near "the beloved city" waiting for the little season to end. That place is here on earth. Is the beloved city none other than the New Jerusalem? Is what John was describing in Revelation 21 a rearranged heaven and earth from the Great Tribulation of the first…

The Camp of the Saints
Who and where is the camp of the saints mentioned in the book of Revelation? I believe they are here on the earth interacting with our King Jesus. But we can't see them because they are glorified and spiritual, but they are here. Otherwise, Satan wouldn't be working toward surrounding them during...

The Second Death
What is the second death of Revelation 20? There must have been a first death, then a resurrection, for there to be a second death we have to contend with before judgment. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The Little Season: Who are the rest of the dead?
This week we look at the difficult and highly debated question, "Who are the rest of the dead of Revelation 20:5?" This is my opinion, but it makes sense. We aren't talking reincarnation or even resurrection. Resurrection is designed for saints, but can be ours at the end of all this as well....

Show update
I just finished moving from AZ to WA and am getting settled in. Show update: The other podcast, the Great Tribulation, will be put on hiatus and all future podcasts will be recorded here. I felt I had to do the introduction to the Little Season (see last episode) on the other channel as most...

As I put this channel on hiatus, I want to redirect my listeners over to my other podcast called The Great Tribulation, which more clearly tackles current events and evidential past history telling us specifically the season we are living in. Read Revelation 20. Thank you Lisa Hosted on Acast.…
