Right-side VS left-side brains

from Tea With George · host George Caylor, Diane Gruber, Steve Putney

Right Brain vs Left Brain by Steve Adams For several years, I have worked as a consultant for a local performing arts theatre.  It has been one of the joys of my life both professionally and personally to have the technical challenges but also to be around people who see life through a creative lens, be that in pottery, painting or acting. In college I took some psychology classes and learned that generally the Left brain is associated with things like logic and language while the right brain is associated with creativity and intuition. I have been accused of being left side dominant plenty of times, but in reality, we are all some mixture of both.   Allowing myself to see life through right side eyes has shown me aspects of people that I may have overlooked before.  In a world that can be so polarized, I am learning that perspective matters. Being willing and able to see and understand life from perspectives that may differ from my own has increased my knowledge and experience, and hopefully my Wisdom. Sponsored by the Caylor Group Wealth Management in Lynchburg VA.
