Righteous Living: What Are We Even Doing This For?

Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in Matthew 23 today. The story of the Pharisees is a great example of how not to approach Christianity. They liked to make up rules, and go beyond what God asked them to. But they were doing it for the wrong reasons. A lot of churches today fall into the same habit of trying to do things their own way instead of the way God intended, and the motivation is often selfishly driven. So, are you living to glorify God, or yourself? “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
