जीवन में रिश्तों का अपना महत्व है। समय के साथ इनमें गर्मी आती है और कालांतर में ये ठंडे पड़ जाते हैं। रिश्ते रक्त सम्बंध से बने हों, मानवीय अथवा अमानवीय सम्बन्ध से, जीवन में मिठास अथवा खटास सम्बन्धों के कारण ही होते हैं। सम्बन्धों पर चाटुकारों और रायबहादुरों का विशेष प्रभाव पड़ता है। आइये इन्हीं प्रभावों को महसूस करते हैं हमारी कविता " रिश्ते " से।

On another occasion he remarked to his friend George Bernard Shaw: "To look at you, anyone would think a famine had struck England". Shaw retorted, "To look at you, anyone would think you have caused it". P. G.
