Rodney Alcala - The Dating Game Killer

Hello you lovely supporters of our podcast, as a gift for Christmas here is the previously exclusive Patreon episode of the astonishing case of Rodney Alcala, AKA the Dating Game killer. In the 1970's Alcala would commit many violent and often fatal attacks on women and girls across America.  During the height of his crimes he appeared as 'Bachelor number 1' on the hit TV show, The Dating Game, and he even won!  However his date on the show, Cheryl Bradshaw, refused to attend the tennis lesson date they had won as she found Rodney too creepy... how astute her intuition turned out to be.In 1979 he was captured and found guilty of murdering a 12 year old girl and he lived out the rest of his life behind bars.  This would transpire to be very fortunate because as the turn of the 21st century brought about new forensics, including DNA profiling, he would be charged with and convicted of five more murders.Merry Christmas you beautiful people!
