Rodney Baltimore interviews Business Owner Wayne Barton for the 'Pearl City meeting' Saturday June 10, 2023 at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church 200 Ruby Street in Pearl City (Boca Raton) During segregation Pearl City (Colored Town) was the only location that Black citizens could live and own land in the city of Boca Raton (Palm Beach County) Presently with the Brightline Train having a boarding station in Boca Raton and Pearl City being on 'high ground' and gentrification this Black Community existence is being threaten. Pearl City residents are hoping to get this neighborhood declared a 'historical site' the meeting will be held Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church 200 Ruby Street (Glade Road & Federal Highway) form 10am to 2pm on Saturday June 10, 2023 for more information contact (561) 239-4048
