Summary

Venari Hallerman (Rogue Trader) – John Kynnoch (Navigator) – Jesse Jarnan Morgun (Missionary) – Jon Emmaus Kore (Void Master) – Kevin GM – Neil As Kynnoch and Venari are leaving the Adeptus Mechanicus headquarters Kynnoch attempts to sow seeds of doubt in Venari’s mind about how loyal Emmaus may be. While waiting for Emmaus and Jarnan to return Venari checks in with Orros to see what’s been going on in their absence. Zarkov remains in charge of Footfall and is beginning to cause problems with some of the local trade organizations. He was also contacted by the mining concern. It seems the mining colony has been under attack by guerrilla forces. When the command staff reconvenes Jarnan explains that the Ecclesiarchy wants the crew to hunt down the demon and will reward if they are successful. Venari tells them about the attacks on the mining colony and suggests they stop there first before tracking down the demon. With Jarnan’s acquiescence they wait a few days for more information from Orros before heading out. Orros eventually sends a video of one of the attacks on the colony. As the crew huddles around the vidscreen Emmaus spies a shape in the background.
