Summary

Venari Hallerman (Rogue Trader) – John Kynnoch (Navigator) – Jesse Jarnan Morgun (Missionary) – Jon Emmaus Kore (Void Master) – Kevin GM – Neil Narrowly escaping a vicious sneak attack by Kayne, the crew heads back to the mining colony. Venari wants to talk with Brandt about what resources are available. Brandt is short with him reminding Venari that it was his responsibility to provide security for the operation and to have whatever would be necessary for the job. Venari leaves annoyed. After a protracted discussion the crew decides to bring down five murder servitors from the Heretics Bane to be part of the strike force against Kayne. They leave a skeleton crew of mercenaries behind along with a few of Jarnan’s acolytes to protect the base on the off chance the Kayne makes an end around and then they set out. The strike force lands about a mile out from the waterfall and begins making their way in. The auspex scanners show that Kayne has his proto-kroot forces arrayed in imperial battle formation.
