Rogue Trader Session 23-1

from Legends of Tabletop Podcast · host Legends of Tabletop

Venari Hallerman (Rogue Trader) – John Kynnoch (Navigator) – Jesse Jarnan Morgun (Missionary) – Jon Emmaus Kore (Void Master) – Kevin GM – Neil In the lull following the near death of two of the crew, Venari has his servo skull Kayne, connect with one of the downed servitors. They appear to have been augmented by the Adeptus Mechanicus but they are decidedly unconventional. Kynnoch doesn't detect any warp presence on the servitors but there still a warp presence in the mausoleum. Jarnan examines the iconography of the crypt but doesn't note anything that seems out of place and Emmaus doesn't find anything that would appear to be of xenos origin. Kynnoch gets bored and decides to toss the corpse of on e of the servitors down the lift shaft and it fall for a while before splattering. Unsurprisingly this elicits a response from whoever is in the lower reaches of the crypt. Everyone scatters except for Jarnan who, stands off to the side of the lift doors. A huge tech priest, with what appear to be demons or spirits chained to him, steps out of the lift and notices the bodies of his servitors and turns seeing Jarnan. There's a bit of verbal sparring and it looks like the tech priest may feel the flames of Jarnan's righteousness when Venari steps out. Venari is on the cusp of making a deal with the priest with Jarnan's approval when Kynnoch takes offense and not only the tech priests language but the idea that he is enslaving psykers to serve as demon hosts. Things go downhill very quickly as Kynnoch attacks. https://www.birdscoffeecompany.com/coffees/legends-of-tabletop-legendary-brew Use Code Legends10 to get 10% off your order https://www.patreon.com/legendsoftabletop Theme music created by Brett Miller http://www.brettmillermusic.net/
