Starting her jiu jitsu journey at Immersion Glen Waverley, “Tiny” Tina West was fortunate to receive a grounding in the fundamentals from “Mini” Dave Marinakis, one of the best in Australia. She moved to Rochester in regional Victoria as a blue belt and faced many hardships, including the floods of 2022 that all but destroyed the town.
