Romans 15 - Lifting Others Up

The entire Christian life is centered upon Jesus lifting us out of lives ruined by sin. He keeps lifting us to be more like Him in other's lives. We’re given the opportunity each day to Bless those we encounter, and blessing people by first caring about others before ourselves. The word edify is used in the scriptures, meaning to improve another’s life morally and intellectually by teaching them the Word of God. What’s truly a blessing in putting others first is that we get to see the Lord putting us first. The principle of sowing and dealing comes into our life experiences. We sow seed in lives that are broken and we sense the Lord pouring Himself into our lives.
