Romans 8:14-17 - We Are Sons of God

The beautiful reality of realizing we are the Sons of God by new birth and adoption assures us of our salvation. We experience it in our daily living, the desire to no longer be controlled by sin, but to walk with Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit, living a new life that has meaning, purpose, joy, and blessings. The difference is seen by what now motivates us in daily living: our relationship with Christ, our love for the Word of God, and our desire to fellowship with His people. The greatest reality and change is we truly begin to live as the sons of God, no longer living after the desires of a fallen sinful nature. We now find that we are living by the power of the Holy Spirit, pleasing God and blessing others, and all by God’s grace, making us more like Jesus.
