It speaks more of the choosing of sinners to be saved. God predestined His people in eternity past, meaning that His preordained plan will certainly and infallibly come to pass according to His sovereign will. Those God foreknew and predestined, He also CALLED. When that foreknown, chosen, predestined sinner hears the gospel call given outwardly through the preaching of the gospel, God also does an internal, effectual call that PRODUCES by grace the faith and repentance needed to come to Christ. Those whom God sovereignly and effectually calls will exercise saving faith and thus be justified. When did God’s foreknowing occur? In eternity past. When did God’s predestining occur? In eternity past. When did God’s calling occur? At a point in time when you were born again When did God’s justifying you occur? When you had faith in Jesus. When will you be glorified? In the future! It hasn’t happened yet.
