Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. As this day gently comes to its close, there may still be questions resting on your heart. Some prayers are still waiting to be answered, some burdens are still being carried and tomorrow remains unseen. Yet there is one certainty that never changes: the love of Jesus Christ remains constant through every hour of our lives. Tonight, before you rest, allow that truth to settle deeply within your heart.  Romans 8:38–39 (NIV) “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future… nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” What remarkable hope these words bring. Our confidence does not rest in a trouble-free life but in the unbreakable love of Christ. Whatever today has held, and whatever tomorrow may bring, His love remains unchanged. So tonight, let’s quietly remind ourselves that fear will not win, because nothing can separate us from the love of Jesus Christ, who is faithful yesterday, today and forever. Father, thank You for Your unfailing love that has carried us throughout this day. Thank You that Your grace has been sufficient in our weakness, Your peace has remained available in every moment and Your presence has never left our side. Lord Jesus, watch over every listener tonight. Bring healing to those who are unwell, comfort to those who feel lonely, rest to those whose minds are weary and fresh hope to everyone facing tomorrow with uncertainty. May we lie down in peace, knowing that we are held securely in Your everlasting love. Holy Spirit, quiet every anxious thought, surround every home with Your peace and prepare our hearts to welcome a new day with confidence, faith and joyful expectation. Across the world, from Hobart to Hamilton, from Singapore to Birmingham and Curitiba, may every listener fall asleep secure in the unchanging love of Christ, discovering again that His hope is stronger than every fear.
