Root Down to Rise Up a Healing Meditation for Mother Earth

from Super Stretch Yoga · host Jes Rosenberg

Honored to share a meditation for this moment in time as we navigate COVID-19 and the challenging circumstances it brings about personally, professionally, and for the earth. Living is a privilege but we made Mother Earth a bit angry! We neglect her gifts. Got lazy, thoughtless. We’ve pushed a button and the earth is on fire. It’s time to listen! It’s a wake-up call, an awareness practice. This pandemic is horrible - don’t get me wrong, but the dis-ease and dis-comfort in the universe right now is palatable - it is also breaking open human generosity and empathy and reducing our planetary impact. It is super hard for humans to live through big times of change, but we have the tools and we have the ability to be resilient and thrive. In this meditation I want to have you choose optimism and compassion. Let’s set the intention today, together to: ‘Root Down to Rise Up’ a meditation to the earth and our root chakras/earth elements so that we can create balance and stay as steady, grounded and flexible as a tree during this unique time. Peace to all listening. enJOY the intention and the meditation. Get back to us with your thoughts on our feed.
