Rosie's Gems: Passion & Freedom

Rosie is a hand engraver and calligrapher that makes visually captivating gifts and centerpieces. My passion for calligraphy started in 2013 as a simple hobby in pharmacy school as a means to cope with the academic stresses. Shortly after graduation, I failed my licensing exam and lost my dream job. I was devastated, as I had no job, no license, and almost $200,000 worth of loans. Fortunately, calligraphy and my family helped me acknowledge the major disappointment and pushed me forward. I used that fuel to start my calligraphy business as I studied for my license. Today, I am a full time pharmacist, calligrapher, and calligraphy business coach! As a live calligrapher and engraver, I work with luxury brands, celebrities, and wonderful clients to create unforgettable experiences. In January of 2021, I launched my calligraphy business mentorship program, called The Craft Academy, where I mentor fellow calligraphers find their niche, build their brands, and scale their businesses. It sounds like a crazy schedule, but I LOVE IT! I am incredibly blessed to have gotten to this point in both my pharmacy and calligraphy career. Calligraphy has not only gotten me through the most difficult times of my life, but it is helping me reach financial freedom as well. I have been fortunate enough to have scaled my business to 5 figure months by the end of 2020 and hope to pay off my loans by the end of 2021. Financial freedom is on the horizon, and I could not be happier!
