from Lovecars On the Grid. Global Motorsport Podcast · host With Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman

Welcome to episode 48 of the Lovecars On The Grid podcast! Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman bring us another roundup of Motorsport events from the past week.   Paul is over at Qatar to watch some sort of football cup that's going on over there. We have new, Formula 1 rules, plus Autosport awards and more!   First, we pay our respects to French Formula 1 driver, Patrick Tambay, who sadly passed away last week.   Are aerodynamics ruining Formula 1? Let us know in the comments! Following an interview with Ross Brawn, there was speculation that DRS would be stopped in Formula 1 racing, to make overtakes more exciting. Now, whichever car has the correct aerodynamic tweak wins! All about aerodynamics in Formula 1!   Brawn came out in Autosport magazine, stating that different cars will be given aerodynamic benefits to help keep up with other cars.   This week also saw the Autosport Awards, where Luke Browning was crowned the the Young Driver of the Year. International driver of the year was won by none other by Max Verstappen, while the car of the year went to Red Bull. Kalle Rovanperä and Toyota picked up the rally driver and rally car of the year awards.   Jamie Chadwick has announced that she is moving for Indy NXT in America.    Over in Australia, we had the Supercars Championship in Adelaide. It was the last race for Holden, who ended up winning the race with rookie driver, Brock Feeney.
