Running round Rithet's Bog in the rain

I rode my e-bike to Pond Wood and started a leisurely run on the Rolston Trail in the rain. The bog was alive with the sounds of flowing water and birds, and I stopped to photograph a red-winged blackbird. Along the way, I passed Binder on Lochside Trail, recognizing her by her efficient running gait before even seeing her face. The trail’s festive touches, like the Christmas bow tie on Roy’s statue, added charm to the wet and undulating path.
