Ruth 3:1-18 - The Turning Point

This Advent season we will look at the story behind Christmas. This story can be found in the book of Ruth. It is a short book the shows the hidden hand of God at work providentially in the midst of a dark and weary world to bring about hope and redemption. Whether you feel broken by your circumstances or your sin, Ruth reminds us that there is hope to be found in God who does not forget His promises and works to accomplish our redemption. So it was in the birth of Jesus Christ. God keeps His promises and comes to accomplish our redemption Himself. In a weary world and our oft-filled weary lives, He is there and He is our hope. This week, Pastor Chris looks at how Ruth 3 helps us see God's provision beginning to unfold in the life of Ruth, through the promise of a kinsman redeemer.
