This week, we begin a new sermon series in the book of Nehemiah. This book shows us how God faithfully loves and pursues an unfaithful people. It tells the story of how God's people, by repentance and renewal, return and rebuild the walls of the city of Jerusalem. Along the way, we learn that God wants to use His people, no matter who they are or what challenges they face, to accomplish His good work. This week, we wrap up our series by looking at how Romans 12:1-2 strengthens and encourages believers through the gospel.
