It's A No From Me   The boys are back in the flat this week, and Drewling Samantics regulars will know that Drew and Sam being together in the same room means there’s potential for perhaps even more chat, banter (and beers) than usual!  Today’s episode deals with the tricky business of turning down work, or having to say no to a job (be that before it’s even begun or due to developments once in the swing of things). Fortunately for the our podcasting pair, and the majority of their colleagues, this is a very rare occurrence - in fact given the precarious nature of their work and the scarcity of job offers and contracts, very few performers and creatives will ever be in the position where they need to consider such a decision, however, there may come a time that for various reasons the job that seemed so tempting suddenly becomes less so and the only option is to say “No”.  Treading carefully, the chaps relate back on some of their own personal experiences, and recall others they have heard about, and, whether it be economic reasons (in other words the money is unacceptable or even potentially illegal!) or on more delicate/complicated grounds, the only true solution has been to walk away.  Like every industry, sadly there are a few scoundrels in the entertainment world, and actors can experience the odd occasion where they have to protect themselves or others.
