S08E07 - Raising Recognition

Raising Recognition      News, views and reviews are the order of the day in this episode of Drewling Samantics. Drew and Sam mull over the latest theatre goings on and focus particularly on a very exciting pay review and increase agreement for West End workers - both on and back-stage. The boys contemplate what this very welcome development could mean for the wider performing world and also discuss other “opportunities” for actors, or, to be more accurate, the unpaid and low level/expenses only work that is so common in the industry, as well as the various pluses and minuses that go along with these jobs.    They also pay tribute to the continued success of their numerous guests and bring news of a few who has some specifically exciting and notable recent achievements. So all in all a mixed bag of content and chat from the Drewling Samantics duo this week, of course in their own unmistakable and entertaining style!
