S1 | E7 Called to Serve: Faith, Formation, and the Journey Within

In this episode, Deacon Tim Perry shares insights from his lifelong faith journey, beginning with a spiritual awakening in college that shaped his call to serve. He reflects on the transformative power of silent retreats and pilgrimages, and how experiences in nature—like the Boundary Waters—cultivate gratitude and resilience. Deacon Perry also discusses the sacred responsibilities of a deacon, from preparing homilies and accompanying catechumens to the Easter Vigil, to guiding parishioners through end-of-life planning. A thoughtful conversation on servant leadership, spiritual formation, and the everyday call to live the Gospel.
