S1E19: A convo with Cailin Bracken that I’m pretty sure changed my life.

from The With Intention Podcast with Hannah Folau · host Hannah Folau

Hello and welcome back to The With Intention Podcast. I am truly humbled, floored, inspired, and overjoyed after my conversation with Cailin Bracken. For those who have not had the privilege of meeting her, Cailin is one of the most genuine souls you will come across in this world and has been a prominent voice in the mental health space. She is the host of Sunday Questions and author of A Letter to College Sports. She is intelligent, well articulated, and full of love.  This is a huge deal for me because I came across Cailin’s page after reading A Letter to College Sports. Like I always say, what is meant for you will not miss you. And I was meant to read this letter at the time that I did (one of the lowest points of my mental health). I can confidently say that Cailin and her words are a significant reason why I am here today. Her words gave me the willpower to seek help and therapy. So having the opportunity to discuss post-grad, identity, mental health advocacy, lobbying and policy, and our podcasts and the directions we hope to see them go has genuinely filled my cup. Cailin, thank you for continuing to show up and speak out about mental health. You’re a gift and I will cherish this friendship for the rest of my life. To know you is to love you.  I hope you all enjoy this episode as much as I did recording it.  Peace and love,  Hannah
