    2025 Reflections, 2026 Intentions

Hello and welcome to the FINAL episode of 2025! In true Hannah fashion, I reflect on the past year and share my intentions for the new year! 2025 was chaotic to say the least. I faced a lot of low lows, but also a lot of high highs. With challenges comes redirection. And while that can be terrifying, I am so thankful to be redirected towards things, places, people, opportunities that serve me. 2026 is the year of the horse and as a formal horse girl I am pumped. 2026 is all about moving with confidence, authenticity, and a degree of boldness. Listen to today's episode to hear the qualities I aim to embody in this next year and the risks I plan to take. This podcast truly would not be possible without every single one of you. This is so much more than a podcast to me. It is a community and family. I cannot wait to keep nurturing and building this community with you all in 2026. Thank you for your support throughout 2025, I am so immensely thankful. Happy new years! Peace and love, Hannah Folau

The Pre-Game for a Quarter- Life Crisis

Hello and welcome back to The With Intention Podcast! I am your host, Hannah Folau, and I am so thankful you chose to listen to this episode and support this podcast. It is T-1 month until my frontal lobe develops, at least I am hoping it does. Mentally I am feeling like my iPhone (brain) is going through a software update, I can't use my phone momentarily, and I have no idea what new features this update includes and whether I will even like them. It is the prequel to my quarter life crisis! Things are starting to "click" yet some things in my life seem more murky than ever. I feel constantly overwhelmed with choices and decision-making, but also believe this is a major privilege + a beautiful thing. I hope you enjoy today's episode. The Unemployed Diaries

Welcome back or to The With Intention Podcast! I am your host, Hannah Folau, and from the bottom of my heart thank you for clicking on today's episode. Todays episode is definitely a vulnerable one and required me to swallow my pride.Truth is, I have been applying to jobs since May. Tomorrow is the first of December. But, I know that I am not alone in navigating the tumultuous job market + an industry that has been shattered by the current administration. Today is not about providing answers or advice, rather the goal of this episode is to remind those in similar situations that they are not alone. I also hope this episode is helpful for friends and family who aim to support their unemployed loved ones. Employment and finances are rarely discussed in private, but definitely not in public. I want to change that. I hope this helps even just 1 person. Peace and love to each of you this holiday season.

If Jane Austen Had a Tik Tok with Lauren Lisauskas

In today's episode I am joined by my hilariously talented friend and former Georgetown lacrosse teammate, Lauren Lisauskas. To many she is known as Lauren. But, to the Georgetown Women's and Men's Lacrosse teams, she is Sauce. In this episode Lauren shares her experience in deciding to write a book, what that process looks like, how one goes about getting published, and how to market your product without comprising yourself. The name of this episode was inspired by an off the record conversation we had about how to navigate marketing yourself and your brand in a world where social media feels like the only way, but a way that feels difficult to break into and to stay genuine in. We laugh, we cry, and we get deep. I am so proud of Lauren and the way she "loves emotional shit". After all, isn't that what this is all about? After listening to today's episode make sure to follow Lauren's blog here. Peace and love to you lovely humans!

Human Design and Conscious Manifestation with Sagari Rao

Welcome back to The With Intention Podcast! In today's episode I am joined by a dear friend and fellow yogi, Sagari Rao. Sagari and I immediately clicked when we met. Her passion for intellectual discussions is what drew me in and is what I think will draw you into today's episode. Sagari discusses how she found human design and how conscious manifestation has helped her to realize she has all the tools within her to call in what she wants. Human design is concerned with the idea of understanding our energy and personality to live the life want. If you are interested in spirituality, philosophy, self-help adjacent topics, then this episode is right for you! Sagari is so well spoken about how she works in tandem with her energy to manifest and exposes the manifestation myths for what they are. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did. The Subtle Rebel x The With Intention Podcast

Welcome back/to The With Intention Podcast! Today I have a special collaboration for you with my dear mentor and friend, Carley Kendall. Carley recently launched her brand, Subtle Rebel, so consider this our first of many Subtle Rebel x The With Intention Podcast collabs. Subtle Rebel is a brand that allows two things to be true at the same time. You can be a leader, but be quiet. You can be kind, but stand up for yourself. You can be strong, but you can be vulnerable. In a world where everyone is trying to put us in a box and make us choose between two options, Subtle Rebel provides a space for us to acknowledge there are more than two options. In this episode, Carley shares her creative roots and how this brand came to be. This brand is built on the insecurities and insults from characters in Carley’s life. And I think that is what makes Subtle Rebel so special. Carley took inspiration from times people put her down and tried to put her in a box to make themselves feel more comfortable. Please go celebrate and check out Carley’s art @ The Subtle Rebel Shop . Thank you for listening to today’s episode and make sure you subscribe so you don’t miss an episode! Peace and love!

Jobless, Single, and Suddenly a Yoga Teacher

You have ChatGPT to thank for this podcast episode title LOL. Anywayssss... welcome to or welcome back to The With Intention Podcast! I am your host Hannah Folau, and by the title you have probably gathered that I have had quite a few life changes over the past few months. I had to ask ChatGPT for help with this title because so much and such variety is discussed in this solo episode. I share how everything went downhill starting January 20th (no irony intended). I had to breakup with my therapist, was put on administrative leave because of the administration, then I was broken up with, I collected several odd jobs, got a tattoo, became a yoga teacher, oh and I moved to Tanzania. 2025 has been pure manic chaos, but I know this is all serving me and what is meant for me will find me.While I hope none of you have endured what I have in the past few months, I do hope that you resonate or take something away from this episode. While editing, I reflected how proud I am of this version of myself. While this episode was recorded on April 4th and since then I have quit my job and moved to Tanzania for the summer, I commend this version of myself for being vulnerable and getting through difficult times. I am so proud of her and just want to give her a big hug and say thank you. I love you all and this community so much. Enjoy XOXO Peace and love as always, Hannah

Subscribe to this podcast or follow me on IG @thewithintentionpod for all the latest updates and posts:) After too long of a hiatus *but necessary for professional and personal reasons* I am back! In today's episode I am joined by one of my former professors and current mentors, Dr. Shabab Wahid. Dr. Wahid is a mental health specialist and is currently an assistant professor in the School of Health at Georgetown University. His areas of focus are: "(1) the connection between climate change and mental health; (2) the influence of culture on the lived experience of mental illness; and (3) development, cultural adaptation, and evaluation of community-based interventions targeting mental illness and reducing mental health stigma and discrimination." It is safe to say Dr. Wahid is more than qualified to be discussing mental health at the global level. With features in The Lancet Planetary Health, Times Magazine, and BBC World Service Radio, Dr. Wahid's research and discoveries have great impact on the prioritization of mental health in not just the healthcare space, but nearly every facet of life. S1E21: 2024 Reflections, 2025 Intentions

Hello and welcome to the season 1 finale of The With Intention Podcast. Today I am flying solo as I reflect on 2024 and set my intentions for 2025. I recall some major highlights of this past year as well as things that didn't resonate or align with me. I go on to share my personal, social, and career/podcast intentions for 2025. In 2024 I felt more sure of myself and more of a sense of community than ever. I also felt the least anxious (major accomplishment). This podcast is my baby and this community feels like family. I have trouble putting into words the impact that this podcast has had on me this past year. All I know is that I plan on using the momentum from 2024 to enter 2025. I hope to NOURISH every aspect of my life this year and continue to grow and evolve as I refuse to stay stagnant in my growth. I am so excited for what is to come for you and I this year. I hope you enjoy this episode and please share if you reflect on 2024 and set your intentions for 2025! Peace and love, Hannah

S1E20: Reflecting on the 2024 presidential election with breaking news reporter Lauren Irwin

Hello and welcome back to The With Intention Podcast! I am your host, Hannah Folau, and today I am joined by the brilliant Lauren Irwin for a challenging yet necessary conversation. Lauren Irwin is a breaking news reporter for The Hill, a nonpartisan news outlet based in the nations capital. Lauren helps us all to reflect and understand the role of journalism during the 2024 presidential election and how it will be shaped by the incoming Trump administration. This episode includes a balance of journalistic insight as well as a reflection of the emotional toll this election took on many of us. Lauren provides contexts for how Americans receive their political news and gives tangible examples of how to turn anger into productivity. The anger, fear, disappointment is all valid, however, it is a waste if not put into action. It is on all of us to stay informed and to bring people with us. Lauren, I want to thank you for your hard work in keeping our elected officials accountable. This episode is not meant to tell which party to align yourself with, if anything this episode isn't about politics because this election was not about politics, but rather morals. As always peace and love, Hannah

S1E19: A convo with Cailin Bracken that I’m pretty sure changed my life.

Hello and welcome back to The With Intention Podcast. I am truly humbled, floored, inspired, and overjoyed after my conversation with Cailin Bracken. For those who have not had the privilege of meeting her, Cailin is one of the most genuine souls you will come across in this world and has been a prominent voice in the mental health space. She is the host of Sunday Questions and author of A Letter to College Sports. She is intelligent, well articulated, and full of love.  This is a huge deal for me because I came across Cailin’s page after reading A Letter to College Sports. Like I always say, what is meant for you will not miss you. And I was meant to read this letter at the time that I did (one of the lowest points of my mental health). I can confidently say that Cailin and her words are a significant reason why I am here today. Her words gave me the willpower to seek help and therapy. So having the opportunity to discuss post-grad, identity, mental health advocacy, lobbying and policy, and our podcasts and the directions we hope to see them go has genuinely filled my cup. Cailin, thank you for continuing to show up and speak out about mental health. You’re a gift and I will cherish this friendship for the rest of my life. To know you is to love you.  I hope you all enjoy this episode as much as I did recording it.  Peace and love,  Hannah

S1E18: Erin Drebushenko from The Hidden Opponent on mental health & resources, the student-athlete experience, graduate school and more

Hello and welcome back to The With Intention Podcast! Today I am joined by a very special human being, Erin Drebushenko! Erin is a recent college graduate from Ursinus College and she is currently working for the Society for Neuroscience as well as The Hidden Opponent, "an accredited non-profit and advocacy group that raises awareness for student-athlete mental health and addresses the stigma within sports culture" started by Victoria Browne. Oh and did I mention that Erin is also working towards her master's degree at West Chester University? In this episode Erin discusses how she got involved with The Hidden Opponent and how her role in the organization has evolved over the years. Erin sheds light on the fact that there are very few resources for coaches and professionals in the sports world and the realization of a similar trend in the work force. Erin is truly a genuine and intelligent soul and I am so excited for you guys to get to know her. She has already contributed in such a profound way to the mental health awareness cause and I know I am eager to continue to watch her break even more barriers and glass ceilings. Peace and love, Hannah

Episode 14: The Joy and Pain of Starting Over with Helen Feldmeth

After a brief hiatus, welcome back to The With Intention Podcast!!  Feeling incredibly grateful for the podcast to be graced with Helen Feldmeth’s presence in today’s episode!  As a recent Georgetown alum in a new city halfway across the country from her home base for the past 4 years, Helen shares the highs and lows, joy and pain about starting over and welcoming a new chapter as uncomfortable they can be. I strongly believe that everyone needs to hear this episode. This episode is an ode to anyone who has gone through big life shifts, is going through big life shifts or is anxiously awaiting big life shifts.  Helen instills great wisdom on letting coping mechanisms evolve with us, routines settle in naturally, knowing when to take the hands off the wheel, and to overall give ourselves GRACE during periods of change and unknown.  Change is terrifying while equally exciting!!!!!! Cheers to Helen and all of you going through life changes and handling it the best way you can!! Helen, your voice is so profound and this community and I love and appreciate your vulnerability!!  Peace and love,  Hannah

Episode 11: Female Friendships with Amanda Reiling

Hello and welcome back to The With Intention Podcast! This is one of the most profound and genuine conversations I have ever had. In today's episode I am joined by one of my best friends and someone who I find to be the epitome of a strong female friend, Amanda Reiling. Amanda is one of the most confident, well-spoken and intelligent people I know. Amanda is genuinely like this without a microphone which speaks volumes to who she is at her core. She makes you feel seen and heard for all that you are. So, what better person to talk about the deep and sacred nature of female friendships with? In this episode we talk about how our standard of friendship has changed, how making friends in the adult world is 10 times scarier than dating, how putting yourself out there is terrifying, but necessary, that friend break-ups are heavy, but also OKAY, and how incredible it is to be able to show up as your most authentic self and know that you will be accepted and supported through every high and low by your friends. This is such an incredible episode, I personally cannot wait to listen to it over and over as a reminder of just how precious and pure female friendships are. Thank you Amanda for your energy, intelligence, and vulnerability. I love you! Peace and love, Hannah Follow on Instagram @withintentionpod

Episode 10: Being Your Own Best Friend and Creating Social Battery Boundaries

Hello and welcome back to The With Intention Podcast!! I am so happy that you're here and feeling immensely grateful that you took time out of your day to listen to me ramble :) This is the second episode of my Post-grad Series (would love input on a creative name for this series lol). In today's episode, I talk about your relationship with yourself being the most important one, being alone vs. being lonely, and knowing your social boundaries! I've realized how much time I have spent in my own presence and silence post-grad. Everything is so new, but the one consistent thing is my own presence with myself. I discuss how making friends and putting yourself out there is terrifying, but can be so rewarding and beautiful. I talk about how sometimes I love and crave a night out and others I want to be in bed by 9 pm and how I can be BOTH (I do not have to choose or subscribe to one thing!). I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did recording it. Please let me know what resonated with you and what you want more of in this series. You are so loved!!!! Peace and love, Hannah

Episode 9: Identity and Sport, External Validation, and Anticipating Change with Anna Ruby

Welcome back to The With Intention Podcast!! I am your host, Hannah Folau, and today my best friend and role model, Anna Ruby, blesses us with her intelligence and grounded perspective. Anna Ruby has been one of my best friends since the 6th grade. Lacrosse introduced us and was the catalyst for our strong and empowering friendship. Anna is from Westminster, Maryland and was a star on the field from the beginning. She went on to play lacrosse for Loyola University, where she is currently having a stellar season (she won't tell you that because she is humble so I must fulfill my best friend duties and brag about her to you). On today's episode Anna provides a grounding and emotionally intelligent perspective on the undeniably link between what we do with who we are. Anna explains how self worth and image can get wrapped up in external validation. Graduating from her MBA soon, Anna lets us in on how she is feeling for her next chapter and why she feels so at peace with it. She truly is one of the smartest, most articulate, and kind souls I have ever met and I am so excited to share this episode with you. Peace and love, Hannah

Episode 8: Reflecting on 1 Year Post-grad, the Job Search, and Embracing New Chapters

Welcome back to The With Intention Podcast! I am ecstatic to share with you, the FIRST, but definitely NOT the last, episode of my post-grad series. Post-grad is exciting, but also terrifying. This series aims to not be exclusive to post-grad from a 4 year university, but to reflect on consistent themes among big life changes and new chapters! In this first episode I reflect on how I consciously tried to be present during my senior year and how now I am trying to live out Suleika Jaouad's saying on living every day like it is your first. I go onto to talk about how intimidating and frustrating the initial job search was, but how many lessons I already learned and know that I will continue to learn throughout my career, wherever it takes me. A common theme throughout this episode is that TIMELINES ARE A CONSTRUCT AND ARE FAKE! Stay tuned for the next episode in this series. I AM SO EXCITED. Let's stay real, authentic, and vulnerable. May we find peace and community in our similar lived experiences. Peace and love, -Hannah Suleika Jaouad's Episode on the Rich Roll podcast.

Episode 6: February Reflections, March Intentions

Welcome back to The With Intention Podcast!!!! Don't worry I am fully aware that it is halfway through March. And I even debated doing this episode because what's the point if it is halfway through March, right? NO! WRONG! Reflections and intentions DO NOT have a strict timeline. I told myself that I was going to start this series and I am going to stick with it even though it didn't happen at the beginning of March. It is still worthy and purposeful regardless of the timing. In this episode I reflect on the 5 intentions that I set for the month of February in Episode 3: January Reflections, February Intentions. I discuss what I overall liked and disliked about February and then get into my intentions for the rest of March: 1. SPRING CLEANOUT!!!!! Clothes, photos, apps, social media accounts I follow etc. 2. PRACTICING FINANCIAL WELLNESS 3. NOT OVEREXTENDING MYSELF Please let me know if you try this practice for yourself! You are loved and you are seen! Peace and love, Hannah

Episode 5: Confidence, Authenticity, & Gossiping Well w/Carley Kendall

Welcome back to The With Intention Podcast. EXPERIENCING A FULL CIRCLE MOMENT. It is so fitting that this is my first guest on the  podcast. In today’s episode I sit down with a major role model of mine, Carley Kendall. I had the pleasure of meeting Carley through sports when I was in high school. She was so much more than a coach, she was a mentor who taught me the power of vulnerability and being your authentic self. As a high schooler at peak insecurity, she helped me to navigate those big emotions and is a huge reason why I started this platform to create a space for conversations around mental health, well being, confidence etc. Carley’s already touched the lives of so many young women being a coach and mentor at McDonogh School, Harlem lacrosse, and now at IMG for their varsity and national girls lacrosse team. The perspective she brings to life in this episode is so refreshing. Listen to this episode to hear Carley and I discuss confidence, authenticity, gossiping well, and the power of mentorship in several different environments. Everyone needs a Carley Kendall in their life!!!!!

Episode 4: Insecurities, Acne, & Confidence Epiphanies

Welcome back to The With Intention Podcast!!!! After a few weeks away from recording, I am back at it and this is not an episode you want to miss. I am so happy and proud of myself for getting real about my deepest insecurity: my acne. I have struggled with cystic acne for about 10 years, have tried all the products and I am finally on accutane (with the guidance of my dermatologist). I discuss my entire struggle with acne and internal confidence. I open up about how ashamed and low I felt as a result of my acne. Check out this episode to hear my own misconceptions with insecurities and the epiphanies that came out of them. I hope this episode serves as a reminder that you are NOT your insecurities, that everyone is battling their own insecurities, and to be kind and conscious of your comments. Peace and love to you beautiful people. Hannah

Episode 3: January Reflections, February Intentions

Hello and welcome back to The With Intention Podcast! I am so pumped about today's episode. I personally find New Years resolutions quite intimidating and difficult to tackle/conceptualize. I feel like they can be somewhat toxic by nature and make us feel that we have to "get our life together" on January 1st. Today is the first episode of a series I plan to start that breaks up our goals/intentions/desired habits by month and into smaller goals with action items that feel more attainable and genuine. In this episode, I reflect on January and talk about what served me and what didn't. It is important to me that I check in with myself. I don't do this to judge myself for the habits that didn't serve me, but to learn from them. In the second part of today's episode I discuss my 5 intentions and action items for the month of February: 1) Financial Literacy 2) A Quality Sleep Routine 3) Physical Fitness Habits 4) Trying 3 New Hobbies 5) Slow = Productive I wrote all of this down in my journal and would encourage you to try it. I would absolutely love to hear if you tried it, what you liked, and what you changed to make it your own. Peace and love, Hannah

Episode 2: Getting Vulnerable About Mental Health and Healing Intentionally

Content Warning: Discussions of mental health and anxiety.  Please make sure you are in a good headspace before listening to this. I want you all to make sure you're putting your own mental health first.  As a passionate mental health advocate, I share a lot of my mental health journey and lived experiences in this episode. I talk about grief and an injury that led to a decline in my mental well-being. My goal is for my vulnerability to help create a space of empathy and to remind you that you are never alone. Long term, I hope that this community can help to break down the barriers to accessing mental health care and stigma around mental well-being. You are seen, heard and loved.  Peace and love,  Hannah

Welcome to The With Intention Podcast by Hannah Folau

Welcome to The With Intention Podcast! I am Hannah Folau, your host, and I am unbelievably excited and thankful that you took time out of your day to share this space with me and listen to me ramble. I have craved creating a podcast/creative platform for at least 3 years now. 3 years ago I was in no place mentally or emotionally to be able to speak fluently or genuinely on these topics. I had a lot that I needed to work through privately and off screen before I spoke on some difficult topics such as mental health.  I am very happy that I waited to create this space until I was in the mindset to give it my all which is what The With Intention Podcast and you all deserve from me.  Once I acknowledged that I was ready to come from a productive, genuine, and intentional space I became apprehensive for two reasons. 1) I was worried I didn’t have the direction and scope of this podcast fully flushed out. 2) I was worried that I would proclaim my stances on topics publicly, but then rustled with the fear of “what if my opinions and values change?”. I realized that I was putting both this podcast and myself in a box. I don’t want to have a defined scope dictating the limits of this podcast. Of course I have topics that I am very passionate about and that I have every intention of speaking to on this podcast, but I want this podcast to talk on any topic that seems right for myself and our community at any given time. To my second “worry” point, I noticed I was doing the same thing to myself. I hope that my stances on topics evolve because I REFUSE to stay stagnant in my growth and I don’t want fear of changing (which I actually hope that I do) to stop me from starting this podcast and creating this community.  This episode is an introduction to The With Intention Podcast and to myself. I am so eager to see where this takes us and how we learn and grow alongside one another. I have every intention of creating a safe and inclusive space and community in which all of us come as we are. We don’t have to agree, but we must have respect for one another. Please remember to take everything I say with a grain of salt and then some. Cheers to the beginning of whatever this is and becomes. And if you listen even for 10 seconds, I greatly appreciate you.  Peace and love,  Hannah Folau
