Hello and welcome back to The With Intention Podcast! I am your host, Hannah Folau, and today I am joined by the brilliant Lauren Irwin for a challenging yet necessary conversation. Lauren Irwin is a breaking news reporter for The Hill, a nonpartisan news outlet based in the nations capital. Lauren helps us all to reflect and understand the role of journalism during the 2024 presidential election and how it will be shaped by the incoming Trump administration. This episode includes a balance of journalistic insight as well as a reflection of the emotional toll this election took on many of us. Lauren provides contexts for how Americans receive their political news and gives tangible examples of how to turn anger into productivity. The anger, fear, disappointment is all valid, however, it is a waste if not put into action. It is on all of us to stay informed and to bring people with us.
