S1E5 Forced Sharing: It’s a No for me.

What to teach kids can become a verrrry touchy subject. Let me just say,  I am not a mother but I am both an auntie and a woman who grew up being told to be a “good little girl” and to say Yes, to be amiable…it came back to bite me.  In this episode I share a thought from an article that changed my way of interacting with kids.   That forced turn-taking or forced sharing may be the reason some of us serial people-pleasers turned out the way we did.   I share psychological research on autonomy in kids and my own experience.  Please listen/watch with the context in which i share the information, context matters.   thank you!
