S1E8 - Andrea Brenholz | Top Lessons Learned in 2022 (A Unicorn in the Boardroom Crossover)

from Parent. Boss. Leader. · host Laura Munson

Season 1: Episode 8 PBL is wrapping up 2022 by interviewing a real-life unicorn! And by that I mean I had the pleasure of sitting down with ATR’s President & CEO, Andrea Brenholz, who hosts her own podcast called “Unicorn in the Boardroom.” That’s right: it’s our very first crossover episode! This was a great opportunity to have a candid chat with an old friend and trusted business partner about the top lessons we learned in 2022, a year that tested our limits in so many ways. Being in the staffing industry, we’re constantly on the edge of our seats, waiting to see what world events will come along and affect the many industries we work in (spoiler: this year did NOT disappoint). It’s not for the faint of heart, so you’ve got to love your job to make it work. In talking with Andrea, I was instantly reminded of just how much she loves hers. It’s honestly inspiring! Enjoy the episode and have a wonderful holiday season, everyone! Episode Highlights: We catch up briefly and touch on Andrea’s history with ATR We talk about the importance of agility to keep up with frantic changes in the staffing industry Andrea makes the point that loving your job is a critical piece of anyone’s business success (and leading a vibrant life) We discuss how stress can be handled by focusing your attention on other people—an indispensable coping mechanism that can make you unshakable And so many other great bits of wisdom! We won’t spoil them here. Connect with ATR: LinkedIn and Instagram Thanks for tuning into this week’s episode of Parent. Boss. Leader., empowered by ATR International. I'm Patti and it's been said - many times - that I talk too much. I'm a teacher, author, nature lover and for ten years I owned a coffeehouse cafe where my faith in the goodness of humans was restored every day. This podcast highlights the awesomeness of humanity - er...outside the warmongers, globalists, tyrants and politicians in general. You know, the rest of us weird, quirky and sometimes hilarious humans. We'll talk woo, probe mysteries and leave you thinking about something more interesting or entertaining or uplifting than your grocery list, or boss or that oil change your car needs. I talk too much because I can't help my Gemini moon and Leo Rising nature. I do a podcast because it's cheaper, funnier and more productive than therapy.  Fearless Parent Radio Fearless Parent Radio delivers fresh social media perspective on parenting and wellness.
