S1E9- The Last Starfighter

Greetings, podcaster! You have been recruited by Podcast league to defend the zeitgeist against mediocre movies and their cult followings! This week, Josh and Ryan hop in their Star Car and take a galactic trip to Rylos to join Alex and Grig in a desperate battle against Xur, the Ko-Dan Armada, and a host of absolutely abysmal CGI effects. Ever wished that your video games were actually a test to see if you had the skills to duke it out on the universal stage of space combat? Here's your chance, starfighter. Grab your quarters, and prepare for target light practice! "The Last Starfighter" was released in 1984 and stars Robert Preston, Dan O'Herlihy, Lance Guest, and Catherine Mary Stewart.
