Today I share a lot of about PMS - but not just the typical definition of PMS which is premenstrual syndrome, but what it has come to mean for me: putting myself second.There was a time when I first began my self-love journey and focused more on my needs and filling my buckets, rather than everyone else's buckets, that I didn't have any of the textbook syndromes of PMS.Now, after a crazy year, not sleeping as well as I could, and other factors adding to my overall stress, all those symptoms are back.But PMS doesn't have the same meaning for me anymore - all these symptoms are a reminder that I'm putting myself second and if I want the symptoms to stop, I have to rebuild that loving relationship with myself.
