S2, Ep15: Microneedling 101 for Redheads with Guest Tori Burns, MPAS, PA-C

from How to be a Redhead · host Adrienne Vendetti & Stephanie Vendetti

Microneedling is a procedure that uses fine needles to puncture the skin and create a controlled skin injury in order to rejuvenate the skin. It is used to treat and improve conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, skin texture, pore size, brown spots, stretch marks, and pigment issues. Microneedling, in some form, has been practiced for more than 20 years. It’s also called skin needling, collagen induction therapy (CIT), and percutaneous collagen induction (PCI). Can redheads get this procedure? We talk with Tori Burns, Physician Assistant-Certified at The Center for Aesthetic and Laser Medicine in Tyler, TX. She gives redheads the 101 on microneedling.
