The gardens are maintained by the Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources Department. The Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation, Inc provides leadership, funding, plus courses, a children's garden, events such Holiday Lights in the Gardens, and festivals. The Florida Botanical Gardens is an oasis designed to inspire and educate visitors by reconnecting them to nature.
